Your focus will be on supporting annual audit and assurance plans. As a positive role model to junior staff and the wider team, you’ll deliver work to the highest professional standards.

Your focus will be on delivering audit work in line with professional standards. This will support annual opinions on control effectiveness, governance and risk management and help the authorities in developing their services.

We’ll look to you for day-to-day risk support across our agreed policies and procedures. You will also administer documentation and be a trusted risk advisor. Your role will also give you the opportunity to improve the governance approaches that direct and control the Councils, including counter fraud strategies.
